My Rooms Guide
Bookings, statistics and the calendar for the rooms assigned to you
What this screen is forLooking, without being able to change anything
The screen is called «My rooms» and it is the only one in the app you see with the observer role. It shows the rooms assigned to you — not all of the property's — from three points of view, one per tab.
It is all read-only, and it is so by construction: there is no button that creates, edits or deletes anything. It is not that the controls are hidden from you: they are not there. You can check dates and occupancy with no risk of touching what you should not.
The three tabs at the bottom
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| «Bookings» | The list of bookings for your rooms, with two counts at the top: «In progress» (who is in house now) and «Upcoming» (who has yet to arrive). |
| «Statistics» | Three measures, one at a time: «Occupancy», «Revenue» and «Channels». |
| «Calendar» | The grid: one row per room, one column per day, and the bars are the bookings. |
What you do hereRead the bookings, measure, look at the grid
Reading the bookings
On the «Bookings» tab the two counts at the top tell you at a glance how many guests you have in and how many are coming. Below is the list for the period you are looking at; «Today» brings you back to the current day. When the period holds nothing, the app says so: «No bookings in this period».
Changing measure in the statistics
On the «Statistics» tab you pick one measure at a time among «Occupancy», «Revenue» and «Channels», and the period to read it over — «Month», for instance. The numbers cover your rooms only: they are not the whole property's numbers, and they are not meant to match what management reads.
Looking at the calendar
The «Calendar» tab is the same grid as the property calendar, narrowed to your rooms and without the controls: nothing is created, moved or blocked. Tapping a bar opens that booking's card, read-only as well: you read all of it and you cannot change it.
Group by room type
From your account menu, open «View and density»: the «Group by room type» switch applies to the «Calendar» tab too. It is off to start with and the choice stays on the device. When it is on, your rooms are gathered by room type and each group opens with a row showing the room type name and the number of rooms, for example Double (4), and for each day how many rooms are free out of the total and the occupancy percentage, for example 1/4 · 75%, in red when nothing is left free. Rooms that are blocked or under maintenance do not count in the total.
The top bar
Four controls: «?» to reopen this guide or replay the on-screen guide, the light or dark theme, the app language and your account menu. From there you change your own password — every role is entitled to that — and you sign out.
Special casesWhat happens in certain conditions, not always
No rooms assigned
If no room has been assigned to you yet, the screen says so and sends you to the right person: «No room assigned. Contact the manager.» It is not a fault and it is not fixed from this screen: the assignment is made by whoever manages the roles.
Children's ages
Where a booking brings children, the hint that opens when you hover the mouse over a calendar bar ends with the declared ages. On a phone that hint does not open, but here you have a second way: tap the bar and the ages are in the room card, under the counts.
You get no notifications
The observer role receives no notifications: neither for a new booking nor for management alerts. That is deliberate, and it goes with being read-only: you are here to consult, not to be called in to act.
If something does not add upThe most frequent doubts, with the short answer
- I cannot find the button to create a booking. It does not exist for this role. The whole screen is read-only.
- I see fewer rooms than the property has. That is correct: you see the ones assigned to you. To get more, ask whoever manages the roles.
- My numbers do not match management's. The statistics here count your rooms only; management's count the whole property.
- I tapped a calendar bar and a card opened. That is deliberate: the card opens and is read, but not edited.
- I get no notifications at all. The observer role receives none.
- I want to change my password. Your account menu, top right.

If something does not add up, ask whoever runs the property: from their account they can open a support ticket.
